Education & Qualifications
Over the past four years, I have gained valuable experience working in various settings within the field, including clinics, homes, and schools. This diverse exposure has equipped me with a well-rounded perspective and the ability to adapt to different environments, enhancing my skills in providing tailored and effective support wherever needed.
The Best Part of My Job
The best part of my job is witnessing the incredible resilience of the kids I work with as they overcome challenges. For example, I worked with a client for two years who struggled with tantrums and aggression.
At the time, I was an intern, which allowed me to create and implement programs aimed at improving his communication skills. It was truly amazing to see him learn to express himself and watch his challenging behaviors decrease as a result.
One of the most rewarding moments occurred when his mom had to leave for a meeting, and for the first time, he said, “I want my mom.” Hearing him use her name was a groundbreaking moment that significantly enhanced their relationship. Observing these transformations firsthand is deeply fulfilling and drives my passion for this work every day.
